The game was developed as part of a school course using Unreal Engine 5. To keep the process organized and efficient, our development team used Scrum methodology, with Git for version control within Microsoft Azure environment..
My primary responsibility as a developer was to build the ship’s side thruster engine room. I approached this by designing and constructing the entire environment using a set of modular assets. Beyond my main focus, I also took on additional programming work. I created custom shader functions to generate environmental damage. Furthermore, I used C++ to develop the logic for a fully functioning vending machine, the ships compass and an objective pointer.
